Is there a platform for feedback to ELD?

I think the grading is uneven across polling stations. There are POs who perform similar duties across different PS but some are graded Excellent, while others Good.

Likewise with number of breaks given. The standard seems to be three one-hour breaks but I have heard of those in other PS who were given less than that.

The duties may be similar but the performance is different what. Aiya, if you are assessed to be “good”, it’s good enough. This is just a national duty. Doesn’t affect your typical grade or bonus in sch.

Also there is no “standard” breaks. AROs have the discretion to make the decision

The grading is immaterial. It means nothing, unless, perhaps, you are considering a secondment or jump to ELD.

Election duties mostly depend on luck. Whether you get arrowed for duty, the location of the polling station you're assigned to, the type of ARO or whatever officer you are under.

And from there...The time you need to report...The duration of your break...Whether you can just take a chair or lie down or hide somewhere to sleep etc.

Depending on your luck, people may or may not close one eye for these lol

There are indeed some ex-teachers there, who managed to “revolutionise” the training programmes for officers.

I wonder what type of work ELD does during times when there are no elections, besides conducting training sessions?

Likely reviewing and updating their processes. For example, between GE2020 and PE2023, we saw upgrades being made to the e-Reg system (which is likely to be upgraded yet again before the next GE, since it's not perfect yet). We saw the DARO appointment being introduced to help AROs and SPOs manage their workload better. I'm sure there were also plenty of other things being refined behind the scenes that are not public-facing.

Training is also quite a huge undertaking. Tens of thousands of active and reserve appointees need to be trained, many of whom are first-timers, and the gap between elections is not that long (2-3 years).

May I check if CEP still exists in MOE?
I’m a 30 y/o male officer who just got my GEO4 this year.
Good PB(C+,B,A,A), positions in school have been taken up.
Considering apply upcoming PGA/PGS or HQ posting.
May I check if anyone here was PGA/PGS recipient before?

You is not even GEO5 yet what is the rush to get a KP position? You can still make high impact and high vis contributions as a teacher.

Dont become one of those fly so high until forget what it is like to be on the ground. Look at your DGE for a great example.

If I am planning to study local full-time Masters and start school in August instead of January, will I still be included in ranking or is there an option not to undergo the ranking process? Also, will CONNECT plan be pro-rated or I forfeit the entire year? Thanks!
