How is the workload of PE teachers? No marking, setting of papers, should be quite relaxed..

If the job of every teacher is only to do T&L + assessment, then yes, PE teachers will be relatively less burdened.
However, teachers' jobs are waaaaaaay more than just T&L. PE teachers also have form classes, CCAs, committees, special projects and various other admin work to handle. To balance the workload across different subject depts, PE teachers are usually also given more non T&L work to do.
So if the deployment is done equitably, PE teachers also work their asses off. It's kinda nice to not have to iron a shirt every day for work though!

CCA, committees, special projects and all those stuff you said are done by other subject teachers too. There's no amount of extra duties that or teachers do that exceed the need to set assignments, Mark assignments, do extra classes or consultations and frantically try to complete exam marking by a ridiculous deadline. Pe teachers are just trying to hide the fact that they have a good life compared to other teachers.

Are PE teachers generally being ranked more unfavorably?

What is this? Even domestic helper increment also higher.

After 7 years in the grade you might be near the geo3 ceiling. The increments taper off quite a bit as you approach the ceiling.

you're probably still relatively young, it's still possible to seek greener pastures elsewhere if u feel that the salary or increment isn't competitive enough
