5% is what you get lah, 6250 is probably the ceiling.

The 5% for junior grades is just an assumption on our part right? (Mirroring the changes in 2015.)

I think the official comms never broke down what it'd look like. If promotions are slow and the ppl leaving tend to be in junior grades, it might make sense to up the ceiling there even more, though yeah I'm surprised it's more than 10%.

(We only know our own grade with certainty, but let's see if anyone disputes it with first-hand knowledge?)

Yeah, cos usually the ceiling is tied quite closely to the salary revision.

Cos GEO 4 and 5 are all 5% and the raise is salary is also approx 5% rounded to the nearest $50 or $100.

SEO 1 also look off the value. It increase by more than 10%.

So GEO junior grades are now exactly the same as MX grades.

What incentive is there to spend years training in NIE and having contract teaching when these years could have been used to achieve a higher pay in ministries...
