What is your approx salary now? The GEO3 range is quite wide. The bump when you get promoted could be around 500+ (including both components: MI for that year + promotion increment).

You will see it in your performance-related payment letter that will be issued in mid-March. It will also notify you of your performance bonus quantum and amount.

The system is really in need of review and revamp.

Contract adjunct
 

Hi seniors out there, want to ask if anyone knows more about contract adjunct role.

- how is the pay like?
- bonuses etc.?

Currently a geo 3 but likely going to 4 soon. 5 years in service. Been getting decent for PBs (Bs), heavily involved in non IP stuff (student leadership, student management etc.)

Been spending too much time and energy chasing progression which now I find lesser meaning. Want to also lessen a bit of workload so I can help my ageing parents with the family biz.

Still have the passion to teach but just not being another pawn in the system.. Contract adjunct will at least get a a stable amt every month while I slowly learn the ropes.

Any Info or advice will be greatly appreciated!

5 years to geo 4 is considered quite fast, faster than most ppl.

Is the pay diff very big? I heard from others that they pay you based on your last drawn and then pro rate.
