Congratulations on the milestone promotion. But holy crap the increment is terrible! That's even less than the increment I got from my cohort promotion many moons ago, with a C grade for the prev year.

Yes u r right. Probably they had reduced the MI and what not.
And it being a "milestone" sub grade is very much disappointing.

I am curious how does MOE finalize your salary after you graduate from NIE. Do we get a lump sum increment after that 1+ to 2 years of studying or will MOE calculate your increment annually and reflect the final gross salary after you graduate?

Hi! I’m currently a GEO4. Can I check if all HODs have to be at least SEO1, or can a GEO 4 or 5 be a HOD?

To poster: I think officers have to be at least SEO2 to be HOD. Can anyone care to confirm?

Possible for GEO 4 or 5 to be HOD, but ur CEP must be at least SEO2 i think. HOD can hit SEO2

Yes the system allows for a GEO4 or higher to be appointed to a middle management position in school, including HOD, provided all the requirements are met (clear the interview, CEP at the required level for the respective appointment).
