Minimum 1 year is the fastest I have seen for my colleagues. For GEO 4 to 5.... then again, I suppose her CEP is very high

Some noob questions:

1. When will the performance bonus be out? April?

2. When does the yearly increment occur? June?

This question of yours goes beyond noobishness and falls into a lack of common sense territory. If the PB was last year was given out in the third week of March, then when do you think the PB for this year will be given out? November ah?

Based on the experience of my mid career colleagues, unless you have a very perculiar set of skills that HR would consider you differently, you would likely come in at GEO 1 like all other untrained teachers, but with a salary close to or at the salary ceiling.

You will get promoted to GEO 4 and 5 in a few years (maybe promoted every year even, depending on your current age). This is provided the school assess that you are comparable to teachers of your age.

SEO scale requires you to hold a leadership appointment minimally, and so far I haven't heard of mid-career coming in immediately as a LH/SH/HOD, etc. Then again, the ministry is huge.
