When is the next promotion
So I have been GEO 4 since 2015.
2004 - GEO 1
2007 GEO 1a1
2008 GEO 1a2
2015 GEO 4
2015-2016 - NPL
2017 - 3/4 load
2017 - outstanding contribution PB(1.5)
2018 - back to full load
2018 - outstanding contribution
ear marked to take on SH role in 2019. CEP also raised (informed by RO)in ranking exercise this year.
when when when will I be promoted to GEO 5????? seems like forever. was told by SL once that NPL and 3/4 affects promotion.
Next, what is the pay increase from GEO 4 to GEO 5?

What is your performance grade like?
2017- what do you mean by outstanding contribution and PB 1.5. OCA? And C grade?

Anyone working in MOE HQ? Kind of tired of classroom teaching, and wanna switch to other roles in HQ.

Can scroll up/down for more related info. But if you have specific questions, can ask more?

If you indicate that you are not keen to take up KP position, your CEP might be readjusted to GEO5. You cannot progress to SEO grade unless you are willing to take up KP position in future.
You won't get your promotion anytime soon, since you are "marked" to retire at GEO5.

Promotion is dependent on your ability and potential to take up responsibilities at the next sub grade. Typically GEO 4 to GEO 5 takes longer. I know of colleagues who are still Geo 4 waiting to GEO 5 but already holding LH or SH positions for a few years.
Increment for GEO 4 to GEO 5 is about 400-450 , including and depending on merit increment, which is tied to your CEP and PB.
In lieu of your NPL and 3/4, I will think about 2 years after you get appointed as SH, unless your salary almost hits the ceiling scale, whichever is earlier.

If I were to hazard a guess I'll say it's your current (half?) salary as of Dec. For those promoted in Oct, bonuses are still calculated based on latest salary - suspect the same will apply for those who get a cut.
But you can probably update us later this month!
