Why so salty? Go and have a family too or work till you become very senior and then see if u would still be saying the same.

Why not? Especially those DipEd holders. You do know progression/ promotion for these folks are slower compared with degree holders. And if they still manage to stay on, it's just amazing

Maybe, the hiring process for teachers should be - "For Singles Only" then solve poster's complaint. Funny leh, my school young GEO3s take ML like nobody's business. Just cover for one another to get the school running. Nobody is higher than the other. My point is - single/not, why all have commitments. Doesn't mean you are single, you tank more. SLs/ROs are not blind to malingering. If you did more, a good performance appraisal will be in your way (unless you are really the irritating kind). We already have a tough job here, why discriminate who's married/who's not? Who does more or less? No need to be calculative.

Has anyone tried shifting their PGDE AOD from a different batch? Example from December to July batch? Given that its a bit of a waste to enter in December because of the year-end bonus loss, would like to ask for advice on this matter.
Would withdrawal from a processing application affect my future applications?

I posptoned intake from july to december before. But do give other solid reasons. Bonus is not one of it.
And write in early.

What reason did you gave previously? Just to gauge thanks, I have some personal and work commitments that I would like to see through before transitioning.

There is a limit to the amount of money MOE can throw at the problem as well. There will eventually be a point where no matter how large the salary increment, the basic expectations of the job becomes simply unmanageable for the average teacher.

Is not unable. Is unwilling. In fact they want to reduce the number of EOs. Have targets to cut headcounts every year.

Good performance appraisal = C
Quota applies, and there's only so many As and Bs to give out
Covering other people's duties, doing more work is usually not seen as 'impactful' work that warrants an A or B, even though the work is absolutely essential for the school to operate.

How do you know that? Reason for asking is to ensure that you do not shoot yourself in the foot as discussion during ranking should be kept confidential.
TBH, paper setting and afterschool lessons are a norm, unless you are exceptional in the discharge of your duties and set a paper that required minimal editing.
I would say that these contributions do not significantly affect your performance.
With that said, if you feel that your RO is not able to justify your perf grade and he/she has made attempts to deliberately undermine your contributions, the next best person to see would be the HOD or SL if your RO is a head.
