Anything goes, usually end up in a place with high attrition rate.

while there’re a variety of reasons why one would go for closed posting, it doesnt exactly take a rocket scientist to figure out why, or what was the grade range of that educator. thats why most of the time, teachers who opted for close posting will not let the whole world know, unlike an open posting candidate. only those in the know would know if a teacher arrived via close posting.
so long story short, almost unheard of for closed posting to appeal out. though you can try to transfer out after 2 years.
i stand corrected.

If this is not your first application, you can only post out afrer 3 years.
Actually when I was looking at open postings, there is this school in the north which had 30 vacancies, including senior KPs. It's really scary. The school climate must have been that bad to have a mass exodus.
For my school, there was a teacher who came in via closed posting. But he resigned thereafter.

Yes saw that listing too. If you look up the SL rotation for 2022, you can figure it out.

Hi I a seeking to apply paternity leave when my wife delivers sometime in september. I had a discussion with my RO and she wasnt too happy with my request for 4 weeks. The boomer says that i am too young to have a kid (i am 33 btw) and that paternity leave is not mandatory.
Can somebody advise me on what I can do? Also need to be careful as my bond hasnt ended yet. They can make my life hard if they want to.

In the civil service, paternity leave is an entitlement, just like maternity leave.
If you have your SLs support, your RO cannot complain about this, even during ranking.

So what should i do now? Go to P and ask if i can apply for paternity? My RO will mark me.
And if i ask for the 4 weeks paternity leave, can they say no?
