Is it possible for a mid career to ask for leadership track if above 40 years old? Is it too late? Currently GEO 4 about 5 years into my second career. Getting Bs for the past few years.

No it’s not. I was offered SH when I was 44 and HOD when I was 46. Ir really depends on the school. Some schools believe that old is gold, while some prefer to have young KPs. You need to know your school climate well.
