Propects for Quality Management Engineer
I have just been offered a job as a Quality Management Engineer. Job scope includes making continuous improvements to the ISO9001 QMS, conducting internal audits and also working with external auditors.
It doesn't seem like a tough job, given that I have had 2 years of experience (not specifically in this role though, just as an appointment holder for internal audits in addition to my regular job scope). My question is thus, how are the propects for this role career-wise (career path and $$$ prospects?).
Anyone in the industry can advise me? Thanks alot!

You should understand that Quality Assurance (QA) is a support role, it is never the core business competency. If you want the best prospect, you should go where the revenue generator is i.e. business development, sales&marketing (cash cow business) or hardcore R&D (startup, apple/google/facebook)
