MINDEF DXO (All FAQ on it)

I have already gotten interviewed 3 rounds and gotten a call by HR negotiated pay and gotten email on the date for medical checkup and making saf card. Wat r the chances of being rejected at this stage? Cos i am tinking to resign before signing the letter so that i would have served my 1 month notice and can start work a day after signing the letter of appointment. Advisable?

You can send in your 1 month notice already. Unlikely that they will reject you even after making your ID card. The only possibility is that you find out that you have AIDS during the medical. From my knowledge, personnel that contracted AIDS will be relieved from mindef.

Hi guys, anyone who previously worked in the Internal Audit department or has friends working there? Any idea what the work culture is like? I'm not so picky with salary, anything around $3k is satisfactory but I'm a person who prefers to know the work culture before working in a new workplace.

Hi, i am a unisim grad in supply chain (merit) with about 6 years of supply chain experience. Applied for the position as logistic executive and within 1.5 weeks, i was emailed to arrange to go for the PT. Seems like now unisim has a little more chance for dxo as compared.

What is the PT test consists of and whether is it hard?

I went for the psychometric test in Aug 2013 and got rejected a lot of times. In Jan 2014, there was an opening for the training executive and I applied for it and I was subsequently called up for the interview last Friday (7-March-2014).

They are very efficient and I was called up on 10-March-2014 for the unit preview. I wrote an email and the recruitment manager replied that the unit preview does not have any interview for this posotion and successfully shortlisted applicants will get the job offer.

Am I right to say that after this unit preview, the health screening and security clearance will take place for the successfully shortlisted applicants?

That is interesting. So anyone went for the unit preview? If there is no interview, how do they select the suitable applicants?

i've joined as a DXO in mid oct. can I know what i should expect for the next few mths? i understand that there are MI and PB grading coming up. i'm not sure whether i will be eligible? basically, im not confirmed and will only be confirmed in april...

and if im eligible, how much can i expect for both? will i be graded from mid oct to end dec 13 or will it be mid oct to april?
