I don't see why it wouldn't be beliveable. Some orgs want to be upfront with candidates cause they don't want people to join, then quickly leave due to mismanaged expectations.

Nobody's able to answer questions about salary as HR keeps it very vague. You'll have better luck if a current DX7B is willing to tell you, but bare in mind that there are many other factors that would affect the pay.
