Yes, i was shortlisted for an interview for a DXO role with the word "Manager" in it. I had no idea it was for fresh grad folks.
Somehow during the interview they kept pushing me to consider DISE scheme. I really didnt know why they kept harping on it. Now that I read this, I somewhat understand.

Asst Mgr is entry grade for fresh grad
Mgr is for experienced supervisor
Snr Mgr is for the senior experienced supervisor
Honestly, you should join DIS.
It will be better for you.

DIS is the tech service and you will tend to be better appreciated there.
If you join other svcs, you compete with the non-tech.

diploma.
yes there are hybrid work arrangements. but it follows civil service guidelines of max 2 days i think. but still subjected to the unit requirements and management's approval. meaning, there are work roles that you cant do at home.

Thanks for the information. It’s strange they do not state the qualification in their job ad.
As I m in my mid 40s (female) and looking for stability in a job. By chance do you know if they usually prefer younger candidates (like many other organisations)?

There is no age discrimination.
Newly enlisted DXOs are young, middle aged and seniors.
