if u clear the G50 screening, likely they will then give u a ball-park offer.
if things are fine, they will then need to seek onward approval from management (submission to go up to PS clearance level) before they can then formally offer
however until the formal offer is in sight, nothing is for certain.
provisional offer can still happen at the latter stages --> i have been thrgh that painful retraction whilst applying to another strict stat board

do you know roughly how long it took for you to reach from ballpark offer till formal offer? waiting for g50 clearance now..it has been quite a long wait for me

when did u submit the g50 clearance form?
from my own experience with that painful roller coaster ride,
G50 clearance completion took abt 2 months
back then when that was done, then the SB work out the ball park figure on the provisional offer --> if ok with the BP figure then they will table onward submission to Perm Sec to formalise offer
but from that painful experience, mines was retracted after Perm Sec approval was granted so till date it will still have a scar in me for sure

whilst trying to move on, it will remain a spot tbh.
if offer retraction back then happen at early stages eg i buang my G50 checks, that I would gladly hold my hand up to admit it's my own doing
but to retract after all the clearance completed
even sought Perm sec level to formalise offering only then zam brake for whatever blackhole reasons (hiring freeze, budget cut, freeze etc)
the number of manhours wasted by everyone is just Sucks
if think logically, if there was red flag at the screening stage, would it make sense for the hiring team to go and put up submission to clear with their PS --> confirm sure kena question by PS why offer despite that

no, mid careerists have shorter runway and have less priority than freshers

Hi,
I saw on my Mindef impress ai page that for my applications, “Reviewed” are all “N/A”. Does this mean that HR hasn’t even seen my application? Or is it that maybe they have seen, but just did not mark it as “Reviewed”?
Also read on this thread that if after 2 weeks there’s no news, to just move on… I applied on 22 Dec and the following week was Christmas, then the week after Christmas was New Year’s Eve… anyone knows if Mindef HR could possibly be on leave? Hoping I still stand a chance…

still too early to tell.
if things go well, you will have interview with unit. and unit is the one that decides if they want you. if they want you, they will even push hr to process faster for you.
after that, you can see the bar become blue even. good luck and just keep applying

Ok thank you for the insight. Do you know roughly by how many weeks later can I consider it a “gone case”?
