I am also a fresh graduate so I cannot answer you, but I just wanted to share that I also applied in September, but several days earlier.

At least you got to the interview stage, I got nothing. I'm female so I thought maybe it'll take a little longer and I was mentally prepared. But weeks dragged into months. Maybe I'm delusional, but I was still hoping that I'll get a callback soon LOL

I am a fresh grad from NUS with second upper honours and served NS. Just want to ask how competitive the pay is like for a role that is similar to Data Analyst?

HR informed me that I got shortlisted for security clearance and just want to check how likely will I be able to clear CAT1?

What did you apply for? Different roles will have different timelines.

But yeah, it's pretty crappy behaviour if a recruiter ignores your message. Seems like a red flag to me.

What did you apply for? Different roles will have different timelines.

Hey thanks a lot for responding.

I applied for an intel analyst role. I'm aware it'll take some time for clearance, but the thing is, I have not even heard back from the recruiter (who is supposed to be my superior if I'm accepted). So I'm not even at the clearance (?) stage.

Also, it's the fact that I've just received a string of rejection emails from other applications outside of MINDEF that has made me extremely despondent and worried for my future...

hi, i applied for AD pos on 9 Oct for a data opening. no follow-up yet, how long is the usual wait?

Hang in there bro. Since it's an intel analyst role, it's natural that they'll take time to get back.

For higher appt, the wait could be longer due to security clearance and other checks.

or interview done and moving onto admin clearance phase or???

for those sensitive posting or those need to deal with top secret info
(think this one most of us can guess quite zun zun whh r the so-called sensitive depts/stat boards that require higher level clearance), can take up to a few months to clear the screening
