DIS is known to be short-handed. They only notify the successful shortlisted.

and generally, what is the next steps and how long does it usually take after interviewing at the site?

DX9 is for fresh grad with recognized uni degree.
The job offer is normally not open to negotiations.
Most people take it or leave it.

Does any experienced seniors know whether it is ok to request a short period of 1-2 weeks after offer to consider? (since obviously we have multiple ongoing applications considering the long wait time).
if so, do you think 1 or 2 weeks is reasonable? wonder if they will entertain for dxo

IIRC, job offers are all controlled.
1 offer at a time.
No point to wait.
If you reject, then next offer will be processed.
If you accept, case closed.
