hi guys~ i went for sid interview around may and went for security clearance around end June. Currently its alr close to Mid august, anyone receive any offer letter yet?

thought its broadly put in the SID website tt hiring process can take abt 5 months from start to finish

5 months from start to finish... meaning from May interview onwards?..
Damn... thats like October in a way.. HAHHA not even sure if its worth waiting given that it might potentially be a rejection email afterwards ... any SID candidates that applied similar timeline as me receive any rejection/offer so far?

but yours is May interview
likely prior to interview, u will be asked to do some psychometric tests to size up candidates before 1st shortlist of folks to pop by for F2F chat right?

Previously, I completed all the psychometric tests and attended the interview. I also took a lie detector test at the end of June, which they said would be the final step. They informed me that I would need to wait about 1-2 months for the results, not sure how it will go tho

wah u r at least in the advanced stages of the flow.

i only recently tried the psychometric test, not sure if they would even find me a worthy candidate

Based on recent posts, period between interview and job offer is 2 to 3 months.

Typically, only the successful applicants will be notified.

When did you tried the psychometric test? was it recent? because if you are recent then maybe you are the recent batch... i think for me i took mine around May ish..

Haha lie detector test is just like how u see like in detective dramas i guess, like they will ask you questions then u need answer yes/no.. pretty interesting i guess
