I think the job listing on the website only has 5 job families/specialisations.. I don't think there is such a thing as general role or technical role..

International and ops. Is this a factor in the time taken for them to call for interviews though?

IMO someone might have been spewing BS earlier..lol..Coz there is no such thing as 'technical' specialisation. There is 'Technology' spec though. Anyway almost all five job families are quite 'technical' in their own different ways, very specialised fields in each own ways. So it sounds quite BS really, when someone mention about ' general' and 'technical' specs..

or he is BS-ing.

or that he blindly apply without knowing what he is applying to. which is impossible as definitely SID wants someone who are critical and meticulous. if this kind of mistake or carelessness or ignorance is done this early then SID wouldve employed the wrong kind of person for the job.

i cannot imagine anyone applying for SID had not done their due research and if SID accept them then its a serious mistake man...

Looking at the recent posts of the people applying, can get a sense that the SID is gonna be another cui department

Anyone take the same dates as me and are still waiting for SID to get back?
