Anyone knows what is the salary range for a DXO with 4-5 years of relevant working experience, good local uni honours, no NS? Thanks.

I am a local fresh graduate from NUS with 2nd upper. Can I check what is the usual offer for fresh graduate, male with NS?
I heard from my friend who was offered a position received $3800 and 6 months later will get another confirmation increment? Able to clarify?

However, if i were to try applying for DXO position, what would be a good salary starting point to indicate in the application form?

You can just put whatever you want. If they can match, they'll match. If you put lower than what they intend to pay u, they will not short-change you one.

Hi, it depends on what kind of 'relevant working experience' you have. My friend who joined the service was a teacher for 3years but mindef could only match her pay, with slight increment only.

Probation has been changed to 1 year. In the past, it was 6 months. After 6 mths of probation, you will get a confirmation increment. But you will still be in contract service till you fulfil 2 years of service before they consider you for full-time.
Newbies under the new scheme will be under probation for one year before they get their confirmation increment. However, they will be considered full-time right from the start.
I'm not too sure of the difference in service scheme benefits between full-time and part-time though. Probably it's the same. lol. I'll be going for the brief soon about the new scheme so perhaps i can let u guys know a bit more after that.

It seems that their response is pretty vague. The lady that spoke to me also mention that I could send her other dxo positions that I'm interested in if I choose to not wait for the outcome of the current position I'm applying for. Does this also mean I stand a high chance in securing an interview? I AM REALLY CLUELESS

Have they called you up for an interview for the psychometric test yet?
