It is better that you ask the MSD officer when u do the clearance. My clearance takes 2-3 months and HR tell me that it is fast. My guess is it depends if the unit need people badly, then they might do something to expedite.

I see.. so they will contact you before they do the clearance? before the site preview round, one of the drs asked me for my IC stating its for security clearance but im not sure if that's counted as clearance? or just a formality? Anyways, its been a week since site preview and I have not received any calls .....I was wondering if I should re-apply.....

Hiii, got the verbal offer! Submitted G50 recently and also went to CMPB submit medical declaration and take photo for DXO pass. Excited! Hoping they will make official offer in July :3

Almost two weeks actually; my site preview took place literally the same day they announced Heightened Alert so maybe the HR was swamped! Had another friend who interviewed for another office in MINDEF and he waited even longer.
