MINDEF DXO (All FAQ on it)

I've got a question for those who have applied for DXO position while still employed elsewhere... is there any need to notify current employer while doing so?

I wouldn't have until something's more confirmed (currently waiting to do PT); what gave me pause was the personal particulars form, where they ask for things like all your supervisors' names and contacts (including current one). They won't start doing reference checks at this stage, surely?

(Is there a point where they do, though? Would rather supervisor find out from me than from random MINDEF personnel...)

Is the economy good at the moment? I was told midst of processing your application and will update you on the status again. That means no hope?

A few weeks. Yes I applied degree level job

I haven't heard back for 2 weeks after my interview. Am I likely not selected?

what do you mean

If they say processing my security clearance, means i get the job or is the initial stage of application?

Govt sector is like tat. usually security clearance is last "stage". More like they offer u the job already,you already got it but contingent to whether u pass or fail the clearance. so if not cleared,den the job offer is rescind ah. Fastest 1 month, longest around 3 months just for clearance.

Hi, can someone here advise what is unit preview? Do we need to prepare anything for the preview?
