Don’t know about chances of being converted to perm staff but they give you 4 months leeway time to look for another dxo job on the portal after your contract ends

Hi, mind to share the timeline you took? what position did you apply for? TIA

my g50 took around 3 weeks if i recall correctly.

if depends on how fast they process it for you.

last time they got someone to call me a few days after the submission that helps to process the g50 information. just rmb that SAF is always clearing g50 (for OCS, postings, recruitment and contractor) so sometimes it takes longer if they don't expedite it.

Hi fellows, who have knowledge on the hiring process or have the experience on DXO job applications/interview.. good day to you.

I have qns, I’m 37 this year currently working for a stat board. Been applying for a DXO position in IT. Private Advance Diploma in IT. What are my chances in getting a interview or hired by MINDEF? I applied for a diploma position in MINDEF portal. Been trying for nearly 4years but didn’t manage to secure a interview this far. Should I stop applying for Mindef positions already since I’m not being even selected for PT/interview?

MINDEF is quite picky on who they select actually. Perhaps your salary is too high for the position?
