From what i’ve read in the forum, dxo fresh grad pay seems to be around this range, so i’m not sure if what they are offering me is reasonable?

hmmm i think you must compare your annual package. Normally public sector, they will see it as a whole. In public sector, 16 months package is pretty normal. use that as a benchmark and compare with your current.

Thank you for informing the market rate for FCH. Useful for estimating our own package.
FCH usually straight up 500 more than a normal pass degree, good for you, get more money just for studying hard in NTU/ NUS
Worth it or not is highly subjective to your needs. With FCH your potential is deemed higher than others, keep being loyal and promotions will come for free. You may not become rich in the office but you have time to pursue passive income.
I know of people who are rich in banks, but they work 16 hour days, sometimes weekends. Per hour yield their salary is no better than intern who go home on time. Yes they drive big car and have a nice house.
You decide what character are you.

No news is good news. Peak hiring season, expect delays.

Safety Investigation
Hi, thought some here might have gone for the same PT session this morning. Was thinking if there’s any insights on the Safety Investigation post? And the likely DX grade for this post (mid-career, some investigation-related experience)?

Interview
I was asked during my interview whether FT ministers like Janil Puthucheary should serve NS instead of avoiding it by giving excuses like saving babies. How should I answer it?

What’s your real opinion on it? If you disagree, it’s ok to be honest but be factual, not aggressively anti-govt. if anti-govt, why work in public service, right? Haha.
There’s also no point in saying something which you don’t believe in. Because they can tell.
