yup the previous person in the thread talked about colleague/senior, but i'm referring to former bosses, so i thought it's different (hierarchy wise).
but anyway i think it's more formal & relevant to put ex-boss than friends as referees...

its your call.
ever thought of those who are fresh grads? who are they gonna put? thats why friends are accepted. anyway for MINDEF referees, i believe its more for security clearance, rather than asking for your previous job performance.

just put ur best friend of 20 years or something. it's fine. i think better to put friends than colleagues cos it's just a character reference rather than work performance.

still waiting followup from PT
I was asked to complete PT on 01 June but there is still no follow up till date..?
Does anyone know if this is the norm for shortlisting people?
I really hope they don't reject candidates who awaited for outcome after like 1 month+ (it's pretty agonizing..)
