Anyone knows what's the security clearance procedure? And usually if they call you down to sign the contract, is it pretty immediate?

i dont think anyone here understands your questions.
what do you mean by procedure? if you are asking how the security people process your application, no one will tell you. if you are asking for timeline, i will take up to a month. if you are asking about CAT1, its interview plus fill in some form.
what do you mean by call you down to sign, is it immediate? if you asking if you need to wait very long at lobby to sign the contract, no, they will fix a time for you to come down. if you are asking if there are other test/interviews when they call you to sign contract, no, when they call you to sign, its pretty much confirmed, pending medical results.

Hi all,
Im a 2nd upper degree holder (chem eng) but not a fresh grad. I was an ex moe teacher for 6 years. Female. Anyone knows what the starting pay will be like? Which position can I apply for? Is my chance of getting into dxo high?

with working experience, they would definitely give u a higher pay compared to fresh grad with the same criteria as u but without experience.. but whether is it more than ur current job (i dont really know.. but considering both are government job, i believe the range wouldn't deviate too much..)
depends, if ur experience is relevant to the position, then of course u are going to be a hot catch.. and there's some position that specifically state requiring number of years of relevant experience in that area (so maybe u want to look for position where ur experience would come to play to give u more advantage)
but then really depends on the unit preference ultimately since they are the one choosing at the end.. but with ur standards, u should be able to make it to that stage anyway..

Yes, you should try again. It may be better to choose positions other than the ones you selected previously. I sent in my first job application on 17 Jun. I received the automated email that they received my job application, but no invitation to a psychometric test. After one month of no news, on 18 July, I decided to send in a second job application for different positions. On 26 July, I received the email for the psychometric test.
For those who are wondering which position you were shortlisted for, it is stated on the form when you sign in for the psychometric test. Mine was my first choice. However, it is possible that you were shortlisted for more than one position.

We applied through NS portal right? Is there any way we can check the list of positions we applied?

I dont understand why DXO requires PT.
Anyway, you dont get to choose what position you want for e.g a HR position

Hi all, just wanted to give back to this forum.
I applied for a position on the website and got invited for PT through email 1 hour later. Went for my PT 2 weeks later. Received an email for interview exactly 3 weeks later. Was told to wait 1 week for the result and got called for site preview exactly 1 week after my interview. Got shortlisted the next day after site preview, went for my medical and security clearance 1 week later. Then signed my contract 2 weeks later.
Hope this helps
