how about foreign banks? i heard they are generous to give higher pay but stingy in term of bonus, as compared to local banks.

bonus can be as little as a few hundred dollars, like <10% of monthly salary.

If no financial crisis, foreign banks increment range 12% - 15% depending on performance, but yes their bonus is lower.

I've been in the O&G industry for 5+ years now. My increment had been averaging 16% a year so far.
