This is a very interesting thread (and funny one as well).

I actually wanted to be a Scientific Dimentional Researcher when I was young. Been reading those Bermuda Triangle and UFOs, etc. Thought that there were many other worlds and Dimentions out there for me to explore.

But as I was taking my PSLE and after that sec school, the teachers make me realise that in Singapore, only can take up corporate jobs and those jobs such as zookeeper, wildlife researcher, amazon explorer are reserved for the ang mos.

Maybe zookeeper still can lah...

I wanted to be Bruce Lee. Now I just want to be financially independent, and still seems to be mission impossible. Sian. Finding time to watch MI 4 is already so challenging.

when i got my first computer, wanted to be the creator of microchips, the next intel.

in sg, the above are impossible.

now, i can only look forward to system development and hopefully some space research on my own.
