MC range and job title?
Hi
anyone from MOE, who understands the job hierarchy well can shed some light ?
I do see, senior head, manager, senior manager, Assistant director, etc., may I ask which how does the hierachy work?
Lets say, I am career switching to senior head role, what will be the most probable salary range?

Untrained School Counsellor
I attended an " MOE School Counsellor Information Session" on 16 Dec 2021.
I am trained in social services, majored in sociology and early childhood, yet only got a 'thanks for applying' letter. Maybe it's age though I didn't state it as it's not relevant to my interest or ability. There was at least one inspiring story from a minority counsellor that inspired me. But they all seemed pretty young.
After the info session, it appears that the position is more like a para social worker without calling it that. They expect home visits to be done.

based on the timeline, seems like interviews will stretch till end of jan.
but i think it would include both first n second interviews.
so second interview should be coming soon for those who are shortlisted?

Interview in march

This was precovid.
From march - august, no news, just waiting game.
Sch counselling interview is stringent.
Honestly, the interview made me doubt my capabilities.
Grilled and roasted me.
But after going through training and dealing with the ground, I understand why.
All the best to everyone!

why is it so stringent when the pay is not that high anyway
