Take simpler job understandable, but downgrade all the way to gov service administrator? I only see this for ladies after marry rich and find some job to past time.

Title not very important, how much you are earning is more important! So fresh grads have manager title but earn 3k while you have a manager title earning 8k when you go for interviews and look for jobs when they offer you they offer you based on your current salary ma.
Banks VP salary ranges from 9k - about 15+k

govt admin =/= admin job.
in the same sense the NUS business admin students don't study about admin too.
and NUS public admin students don't study about admin too.

I heard VP in non-banks is for very senior people eg. >20k. Better stick with Director in your case.

Job title inflation. Coming to a department near you.

By right title should not matter, but we are in a stage where everyone is doing it. So when you stick with a lousy but correct title, you lose out as people automatically assume you are very junior.
Just ask for good title, better safe than sorry and doesnt cost a cent anyway.
