Background Check by First Advantage

Does anyone has any experience with background checks conducted by First Advantage? I was recently offered a role with a bank and was told that they will be using First Advantage for their background checks. For context, I didn't leave my previous company on a good note (didn't gel well with my previous manager).

Just wondering if that will be a cause of concern, appreciate any advice on this matter!

It depends, do you still owe $ to your previous mgr.

Is the mgr likely to badmouth you?

Is your social media going to embarrass you?

If I don't put my manager as a reference, I should be fine right?
