This country is the most depressing place to work in ever
 

Literally the worst

1. no culture of its own, look at statistics, SG is the lowest country for tourists and repeat visits is even lower

2. no WLB, braindead rat-race...

3. meaningless work, even the top companies here like Google etc, their projects are internal tools and other crap that no one gives a fug about while the US Google works on Google Map, Adsense, etc.

4. multi-racial... literally every Singapore based forum is flooded with complains about foreigners. Nice "multi-racial". I served my NS to live with closet racists and bigots... Sian.

5. garbage pay, no innovation, etc. you could be the best in your field, as long as you work in SG, you will never beat someone at the same level as you are, in the US. Pay for pay, you lose despite their taxes being higher.

You can try working in M'sia.

You might feel better after working there.
