I was a project manager in the programs office in 2009 drawing 7850 per month. Got dulan & left after 10 mths even giving up my bonus when they gave me $50 increment saying I have max the salary range.
So I think max range for manager is 7900 in 2009, so should be >8000 now.

How much does a senior manager make? Does it vary from department to department?

Seems like from others experience reported here manager is about $8k, so senior manager should be around 9 to $11k.

I liked the NUS environment but the early morning jam around NUH always got to me. The bus always reached that point at around 8am but by the time it cleared the jammed area it was usually past 8.30 am.

Was asking about senior manager position in comms. Is it really 8k? Cos i heard Deputy Director makes more than 8k so is the senior manager's pay so close to the Deputy Director?

Senior Manager is around 10k. There is no such thing as Deputy Director in NUS, those are all fake external titles given to old birds who reach career ceiling, their internal rank is Senior Manager.

How can Senior Manager be of the same pay grade as Deputy Director? I find this difficult to believe...

I repat again, there is no such grade as Deputy Director. All they do is give a promotion letter and title change to the old birds Senior Manager. The next grade is Director.

okay, so we know NUHS follows a different pay system. But how about Duke- NUS then? Do they also not have a 13th month component?
