Young man, you don't know just keep quiet. In future when you apply for a senior finance position in a listed company, CA is usually required as these listed companies need the financial controller or CFO to double as company secretary. The latter has to be a lawyer or a qualified accountant under the company's act.

At top US companies, VP level and above are usually CFA + MBA holders or CA = MBA holders. Therefore, MBA who are CA holders have a distinct advantage in top financial institutions, private equity firms, in top investment state firms as well as major real estate and top listed firms. SO I am not only referring to Singapore but in an international context. Just think carefully and you will understand. Do not wish a smart accountant to be misled and regret much later.

bullshiat. Accounting background and CA is not required for high finance. At the end of the day, the accountants are mostly there to do the paper work for the satki bankers and PE finance bros and will forever be at a prestige deficit compared to ppl who start out straight in high finance
