Last I heard for an average performer in KPMG,
A1: 3,000-3,200 (2nd lower to first class)
A2: 3,400
S1: 4,200
S2: 5,300 (no CA), 5,800 (CA)
AM: 5,800 (no CA), 6,400 (CA)
Curious what’s the pay now after the most recent increment? What about the other big 4s?

Accurate till s1 (s4 in kpmg terms). S2 onwards is ********

If you aspire to be a financial controller or even CFO in an mnc or listed company, best is to join kPMG and PWC or any of these two government AGOs. This will facilitate you to earn your CA which is likely to be a general requirement for appointment as senior financial officer post due to the flexibility of doubling up as company secretary. Remember a company secretary must either be a qualified accountant or a lawyer under the company act. Especially for local listed companies they normally do not have the budget for a legal or company secretariat functions.

So many ATOs can earn the CA... fyi these two company told the employees during their townhall in 2020 that if you dont like audit just leave. Ask us to not complain about salaries, welfares etc. And do me and my colleagues left. Now? They are increasing pay and acting kind to attract more sg fresh grads... irony

Who will be so low EQ to tell their employee that?
Even if that is true, my boss confirm sugar coat and fluff, tell me I got potential to go far and make me stay one.
