So far, EY is work from home still. No news from upper management or comments yet. I wonder why they lease so much space if everyone WFH-> I guess this is the new way going forward

but efficiency of junior staff is lo

EY people either too free or the work culture really so horrible.

I am free in yellow. It seems on paper I had alot of work to do but reality is different. With WFH , I actually have less " impromptu" meetings to attend, only I myself truly know how much work I do , It is easy to make it seem like im doing more to my bosses.

Unlike working in office where people can see what im doing.
I am actually collecting money in my bank but going for exercises and lunch& dinner dates. I can even book afternoon spin class. Life is good

Why the ratio of partner to staff or the ratio manager to staff is lower in Sep 21 than Mar 21?

I assume it include new joiners in Sep, so Sep numbers should always be the best. Attrition too high until new joiners cannot even bump it up?

Depends on your engagement

Those small non-listed entities are the best to audit. No strict timelines, workpapers are straightforward, can slowly do while bluffing others you are busy.

Those large MNCs are the worse to audit. $1million audit fee but audit team only got 4 people doing fieldwork. Many quarterly reporting deadlines and stupid meetings with client, partner. Also got ACRA inspection so everything must do nicely.
