EY is a horrible place where My SM who is a bitch can tell everyone she is going to make partner , arent promitions in june/july? She is a slave driver , great at sucking up and buttering people and bosses love her . Holds big clients under her protfolio tgt with senior partners , that lucky bitch - i wonder how she got her hands on these clients ( how are sm assigned clients ? )

However when she does become partner next year , she no longer will have these clients right as they are under the senior partners ? She can suck thumb then as she loves to boast about her “ client management skills “

Ey loves to promote bitches , she graduated in 2006 , i wonder how she now knows she gg to make partner? She had high hopes last year but guess she was too junior then

She is such a bitch, when we email her things to keep her in the loop, she says “ what y’all want me to do ah when you guys send me all these , summarise pls “ , when we dont send full documents , she also make noise

She is one of those who have no outside life i guess , free to hound staff all the time , not married and dont think shes dating anyone . Her FB profile is also dead, no wonder so much time

Ey no point to whistleblow also , partners will only care about their SM , they dont give Any concern to junior staff.

SMs in EY live to carry around branded stuff and parade once a month in office . Slack around and dump work on juniors - guess this happened to them
In their early years .

All that i read about SMs being busy is nonsense i tell you. In ey, they get juniors to do shitwork and ammendments and just sign off . Meetings , well they do sit in with partners , dont do much **** , just get juniors to do the follow up and earning 12-15 k by being bullies

Insurance agent is a good path for unintelligent ppl, frankly. Those not book smart but street smart and shameless/thick skinned.

It has nothing to do with value to society; the value insurance agents brng to society is absolutely zero. It is just how our society is structured and the greed of the local life insurance market to require captive agencies.

There's no industry impetus for the insurers to cut out the middleman parasitic agents
when there's a massive pool of low-cost labor / fresh grads easily lured in by promise of easy riches to become agents. Same with the property agent sector too

If you think you don't hv the brainpower to work in a real advisory sector and are the ambitious striver sort who's willing to hustle, insurance sales is a good option.

But if you're ambitious and want to be intellectually stimulated, then join IB tech law consulting or smth like that. Some people need that intellectual challenge from a job.
