Haha don't be so bad man.
If you calculate their per hour pay after including all the OT and unclaimable expenses their salary is actually worse than haidilao salary...

Becoming a partner is like being a valedictorian in your univeristy. Only the cream of the cream of the cream of the cream of the crop will become one.
The rest? Hopes and dreams crushed and the peak period of their life (mid 20s to 30s) has been been wasted.

Anyone has friends/encounters who successfully left big4 audit to join some MNC as internal accountant / financial controller, etc?
Maybe the pay jump is good?

It would seem that many agree that it's around this range?
Gosh I really expected Big4 to offer better compensation...especially with all the long hours and slogging

Too bad the graduates buy into alot of the superficial employee benefits like flexible working, great pantry etc.

Partner the range very wide, because it also depends on how many years of exp you have before you make partner. But Big 4 basically your salary will keep growing even if you don't become partner, just not as fast as if you become partner.
