Senior Associate, Infrastructure Advisory at KPMG
I had an interview KPMG about 2 weeks ago for the Senior Associate role in Infrastructure Advisory. My current payscale is 6k pm with 7 years work experience.
1) Any idea how much can i expect if i am offered a job with KPMG
2) is it wise to demand atleast 7k or more as this thread shows that the SA is paid around 4.5k

No idea about the Big 4 but this happens in RSM (Advisory). From what I've observed just a couple of people get that double promotion from the 100+ advisory unit. Usually reserved for those who perform well in the bigger engagements that mid-tiers depend on for revenue.

Can I know if honors classification still matter for big 4?

Sorry if this has been asked many times before. But can we expect at least 3K starting pay for Big4 or even mid-tier firms?
Thanks for the insights.

Hi. I am an SIM-UOL grad. I would say that it is pretty hard to get into big4 with our degree. if you do have connections, do rely on it. I am in the tax dept. I was offered 3k by 2 big4 firms and 2.8K by a mid-tier firm (starting with the letter M). I would say the offers by big 4 were better for my year. I do not know what others receive but this was what I was offered.

There are certain roles in Big4s that don't really differentiate your degree(SIM/local etc), while some other roles they are very particular. You just have to apply for the correct one, and of course don't be a borderline pass for all your mods.
There are many SIM grads in the Big4s, even as recent as 2019, they are always hiring people from all unis, you won't know unless you're in the HR. Trust me, I seen 5-6 SIM grads in just 1 LoS in Pwc within 2 months during the hiring season last year.
And the starting pay is pretty standard across the big 4s, no point comparing. Whether you are local or SIM grad, you get the same.

sidetrack a little, not the usual Big4 (KPMG / PWC / EY / Deloitte) but within the trust and corporate services space, more towards private client (trust and fund administration)
say Vistra, TMF, Intertrust and Tricor - anyone know what is the range for Manager and Senior Manager? Would it be similar to usual Audit practice big4 SM pay range?
enquire a mid-tier to realise that their SM range from 7k to 9k only.
in Big4, M should be between 6-8k?
My gut feel is SM should be at least mid to high 8k to maybe 10-11k? can anyone confirm?
or SM wouldn't be hitting 5 figures, only AD and D onwards?
