I only go for blue AM audit role. HR stated less than 5.5k.
Cant meet my minimum expected. From mid tier, experienced hire.
Why so bad.. I tot b4 AM should be higher than that. Just a few hundred more than S2. Worth the move? Good name in resume but earning and WLB gg to be worst off. Disappointing.

Your minimum expected? Mid tier senior not even 4k. Then you continue to stay in mid tier bro

Hi bro I asked for at least 5.5k. Where got ppl want to take pay cut.
Im not about yours, but my firm actually revised the senior 2 pay to 4.3k I believe.

S2 is 4.3k seems pretty alright. It would be a bonus if they offer you 5.5 for AM sia cas the AM range is 5-5.2k thereabouts?? How many years have u been working for?

Big 4 practices fixed salary bands.
They will not match your last drawn. Rather, they evaluate your years of experience to decide what grade you join, and you get the bracket of that grade.
If your experience is not relevant, be prepared they will discount it.
It’s a good system if you have been getting paid below the curve, but bad for you if you have been ahead of the curve.
Eg you work 5 years still drawing 3k, if they offer you senior 1, you will automatically get 4k regardless of your last drawn. If you work 2 years drawing 6k but get offered senior 1, then yes you take a paycut.

Big 4 is an awesome place for you to mingle with jhk and ceca so you can work closely with them in office. Do make it a point to meet them once per week so you can bond tgt better

Hi current compensation at 5 plus with performance bonus. After appraisal will confirm exceed 5.5 this year. Assuming no promotion. Currently a AM role.
The exact figure given to me to consider was 5.3k when i asked for minimum 5.5k.
Like what.. cant even get more % raise. Disappointing.
