In fact, it’s not even a “company”
In Singapore, there are 4 main types of business structures to choose from. They are:
1. Sole-Proprietorship (one owner) or Partnership (two or more owners)
2. Limited Partnership (LP)
3. Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)
4. Company
You are working for a LLP.

Err but this is not even correct.
Americans in US Big4 are paid different from Singaporeans in Big4 because for all intents and purposes they are different firms just under the same global branding. Different firms means different profit pools in each country.
It has nth to do with LLP or Company or what. If they wanted it to share profits and losses globally they could do it. But why would they.
For example EY. All regional EY entities are held under an immediate regional holding company, in turn held by EY Global which is based in UK. But the global and regional holding companies doesn't provide services themselves. It's the local EY entities that do.
It's the reason why yellow fu*k-ups for wirecard in Germany or luckin coffee in China, is not causing yellow partners here to lose any sleep.
