I just attained partnership and can confidently say that my friends who are commercial managers are earning way less than me. They used to mock me for staying in Big4 all the way and guess who has the last laugh

only partners have the last laugh. Literally everyone else that couldn't make it to partner wasted their life staying.

This is so wrong. The increments between SMs are just like commercial.
