I am not an average joe.

In terms of salary, Short term, commercial win. Long term, auditor win. This is something that most average joes fail to realize. Audit is like an ugly duckling that will eventually turn into a beautiful swan. Not even mentioning that auditor has a chance to become a partner, where sky is the limit

Life isn’t just about money. Once you reached a certain salary level, the incremental satisfaction from pay raise decreases. The upside of audit as a partner is limitless. But if you can make it as a partner, you can make it anywhere too.

This is too low.
Considering jc --> ntu route, start A1 at 24 years old
30 year old (M2): 7.5k
35 year old (SM4): 13k
40 year old (D): 18k
45 year old (P): 25k ++

It’s not guaranteed but why wouldn’t you be envisioning the best for yourself?

Even if you go commercial, you should be looking at CFO as end goal. Unless you’re not ambitious at all.
