Some people start it late, which is not good but still rectifiable. I knew of a peer who did not do anything until last 1.5 year but somehow managed to give his resume a total change. Didn't pull any string using family background from what I knew, and obviously a smart chap (FCH with solid knowledge of his coursework).
This one is funny if he is really a NUS acc FCH. Who listen to LinkedIn coach instead of the school's career services. Extra effort spent on weird area.

Hmm I will check in with my LinkedIn coach, thank you all for responding. Just FYI I picked her as she is a recognized influencer with hundreds of likes on each of her posts, so she should be credible.
