why cannot hire more locals
Local uni every year more than 1000 accounting graduate not enough?

As someone who left last year, these increases do not make you better off because they freeze wages for 1 to 1.5 years.
Also seems the middle get the least increase. Senior 1 is like 100 200 increase whereas A1 A2 increases are higher. Starting M higher, but don’t know if subsequent increments are adjusted. also don’t know if bonus has been adjusted. Call me a cynic but no way big 4 partners are so generous without taking some things back.

Accenture vs EY Tech Consulting
Hi guys, I realized this forum is very focused on accounting. Does anyone have any info on the tech consulting part of EY?
I got offered Accenture Business & Industry Integration Arch Analyst under TAP for 4.9k and EY Technology Consulting Associate in Data & Analytics for 4k.
Do you guys have any advice/opinions on which would be a better choice? In terms of work life balance/exit opportunities/etc

in terms of wlb, both are ****.
in terms of exit opps, acn is renowned as a tech consulting firm while ey is predominantly an accounting or tax firm so i think u will know which is better.
in terms of pay, quite straight forward also
seems like a no-brainer for me
