Even within Big4, your experience can really differ depending on your luck.

Getting “good” engagements (no audit issues, high budget, good location, organised supporting documents, friendly and helpful finance staff), plus a strong team, nice manager, reasonable partner, really helps a lot.

I got lucky and that’s how I outlasted many of my friends.

Last i heard was AM 5.2k M1 6k.
