In fact, this isn't something that is exclusive to the civil service. In Shell, an O&G MNC, guys also get paid.

Although I do heard rumors saying tax pays more than audit, i didn't know the gap could be so much.

Slightly off topic: those who went for fresh grad final-round interviews, how long did you all have to wait for verbal offers? Is a 5-weekday wait normal?

there only 1 interview with the department manager what.

Does anyone know whether auditors have to work at weekends??

The posts here are mostly over exaggerated in terms of the salary. So take everything with a pinch of salt.

Does auditors work on weekends? Yes if you cannot finish your work(most of the time) and if you are at fieldwork and on a tight deadline. It is not uncommon to be burning most weekends off also
