LMFAO the boomer partners should understand that the audit industry is no longer booming and is phasing out. Now the in-thing in the industry is blockchain, DeFi and Tech.

There are no partners here.
Only students / fresh graduates asking about the roles and
Seniors sharing their work experiences and
Ex-Big4 or outsiders chipping in

Like a career acceleration programme?
Instead of joining as A1s and grinding for 5 years to become managers, how about a special scheme where you can go for x months probation over peak - if you can prove your worth, instantly get promoted to a much higher grade.
The variables can be tweaked of course; an example is like
- 6 months probation over peak
- If clear, instant promote to manager instead of grinding for 5 years
- 6 to 7k salary after clearing promotion
Good idea not?

Good idea, graduates from Big 3 unis should not be having same starting point as tunkul abdul rahman university/ or some garbage 2 year degree program. As a graduate from big 3 uni, i see this as humiliation.

Some big 4 managers didn't even attend a proper uni. They just took ACCA. These managers usually have zero EQ and think they damn smart. I purposely heck care their jobs so they get farked by the partners. Those managers from NTU usually have better EQ and are ok to work with so I put in my best effort

The difference is that they are willing to work for peanuts. Starting salaries for big 4 associates across the causeway are about RM 3k per month. Singaporean fresh grads just aren't hungry enough yet they complain so much.

No Singaporean fresh graduate will work for RM 3k a month lah. You cannot compare across the causeway like this.

ok boomer. might as well pay fresh grads s$1k.
You keep hiring foreigners to depress wages. How are fresh grads going to cope with the rising cost of living?
Those greedy partners expect cheap labour to sacrifice their youth, health and time so that they can buy their third investment property and new BMW. hope they kena stage 4 cancer and uplorry within 3 months.
