My understanding is tax managers do pay higher than audit managers as their responsibilities are much higher. Tax managers need to sign off correspondences to clients/IRAS while F/S are being signed off by audit partner only. That is also why tax people take longer time to be promoted to managers (i.e. 2-4 years) unlike audit people which normally takes only 1 year.

I think all 4 firms basic pay 2850-2900. The 4 letter one pays +100 for second upper, +200 for fch. The other firms pay the basic regardless on honours. Do correct me if i'm wrong! |
