Not entirely true

Low skilled is only at Intern, or Junior Associate level where the bulk of work is vouching, casting, tracing vouch documents which is really super brain-dead and doesn’t require much critical thinking or technical knowledge. There is relatively little to no element of judgment involved.

At more senior levels, you need knowledge in relevant financial reporting frameworks to execute the work. At higher management levels, it’s more of a project management role.

But the long hours is true.

This is disregarding the 20% for Chartered Accountants?

Yes. This is disregarding the 20% SCAQ qualificafion. With the qualification, add an additional 20% increment starting from S2 for blue.

But like that the S2 Chartered Accountant will earn more than AM who never take the exam?

I was speaking more to the junior levels since a good number hop over to corporate around the 3 to 4 year mark.
